By accessing and using Cafecue ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
Cafecue is a digital platform that connects users with local coffee shops and beverage vendors. Our service allows you to:
- Browse and discover local coffee shops
- Place orders through AI-powered chat or menu interfaces
- Make payments and track order status
- Earn and redeem loyalty points
- Manage your account and order history
3. AI-Powered Features and Data Usage
Artificial Intelligence Services
Cafecue uses artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs) to enhance your ordering experience through:
- Conversational ordering through our AI chat assistant
- Personalized menu recommendations based on your preferences
- Natural language processing for order understanding
- Automated customer support responses
Data Processing for AI Services
To provide AI-powered features, we process the following data:
- Chat conversations and message content
- Order history and preferences for personalization
- User interactions with menu items and recommendations
- Feedback and ratings to improve AI responses
We may use third-party AI and machine learning services in addition to our own systems, all under strict data protection agreements. We do not share personal information with AI providers beyond what is necessary for service functionality.
AI Limitations and User Responsibility
While our AI strives for accuracy, users acknowledge that AI responses may occasionally contain errors. Users are responsible for reviewing their orders before completion. Cafecue is not liable for misunderstandings or errors in AI-generated responses, though we will work to resolve any issues that arise.
4. User Account and Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain and update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
5. Orders and Payments
Order Placement
All orders placed through Cafecue are subject to acceptance by the respective vendor. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
Payment Processing
Payment is required at the time of order placement. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods. All transactions are processed securely.
Refunds and Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 2 minutes of placement if preparation has not begun. Refunds are processed according to the vendor's individual policy and may take 3-5 business days.
6. Loyalty Points and Rewards
Cafecue operates a loyalty points program where users earn points for purchases:
- Points are earned at a rate of 1 point per $1 spent
- Points expire after 12 months of account inactivity
- Rewards and point values may change with notice
- Points have no cash value and are non-transferable
7. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or vendors
- Submit false or misleading information
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the service for any commercial purpose without permission
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
Cafecue acts as a platform connecting users with independent vendors. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or accuracy of products or services provided by vendors. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transaction in question.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on Cafecue are owned by Cafecue or licensed to us. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts at our discretion for violations of these Terms. Users may close their accounts at any time through account settings.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
